Learning and Growing in an Innovative, Supportive, Loving, and Safe environment provides the perfect foundation for your child’s success. That is what we do here. Serving children from six weeks old to Pre-Kindergarten, we offer both a full-day and half-day childcare program. We also provide a private Kindergarten program to prepare children for grade school. The Day School is a Christ-centered, early childhood program designed to minister to the total child. We are passionate about serving children, and our activities and curriculum encourage each child to grow in all areas of development. Our school goes above and beyond to achieve the highest level of excellence and is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Philosophy & Curriculum

Our philosophy and curriculum encompass the following ideals.

  • Young children learn best when the opportunity to learn is provided in a supportive, relaxed atmosphere where individuality is encouraged.
  • Learning takes place best when learning experiences are relevant to the child’s everyday life and environment.
  • The work of children is play.
  • It is important for children to develop personal and social values, to exercise reason and to develop the ability to choose and make decisions.
  • Children should be encouraged to develop positive self-concepts and a growing awareness and understanding of all cultures.
  • Children need a physical development program designed to encourage physical fitness, coordination, cooperation, still development, and sound nutritional practices.
  • The development of children requires open communication between parent and teacher. Our “Open Door” policy along with parent/teacher conferences and parent participation help develop this.
  • School and home must work together for the common interest and well- being of the child.
  • Children learn love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control through the examples that are set for them.

To encourage well-rounded growth, children two and older attend Chapel and Spanish once a week.  In addition, children have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities depending on their age.

Classroom Size

We maintain low teacher/child ratios to ensure that every child is receiving the care and instruction they need in order to thrive. Our teacher to child ratio for each age group is listed below.

Two's - 1 (adult) : 6 (children)

TK-5 Program

Wieuca Day School’s TK-5 program is prayerfully designed to support children who may benefit from an additional year of growth before entering kindergarten. This program helps bridge the kindergarten readiness gap by nurturing each child academically, socially, and emotionally while fostering a joyful love of learning and confidence in God’s unique design for them.
Grounded in the same trusted methods and tools used throughout the Day School curriculum, the TK-5 program builds upon foundational skills while gently encouraging higher-level thinking, independence, and readiness for the next stage of learning. Students in this program consistently perform well on the JTAP, reflecting their strong preparation for kindergarten and beyond. The program is especially well-suited for children who may need additional emphasis in academic development, social growth, or both.
Class sizes are intentionally small to allow for meaningful one-on-one guidance within a calm, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment. All TK-5 teachers are degreed, with a calling to teach this special age group and a commitment to nurturing each child’s God-given potential.
TK-5 students also benefit from more instructional days, an enriching STEM program, and the convenience of lunch and snack included each day. Families appreciate the seamless transition from the school year into summer, as the TK-5 program rolls directly into our Summer Camp—eliminating the need to find separate summer care.

The registration fee is $200, and all incoming students must complete an assessment before registering. Contact us today for more information.

Kidz n’ Kicks Soccer instruction helps kids gain and sometimes master important skills like being focused to learn, staying engaged, cooperation and physical skills related to the game which build confidence and empathy.

STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education is introduced to each child to spark their interest in these subjects. As progressive learning, we want to excite our children about math and science, which provides a foundation for them as they enter elementary school. Learning STEAM is like learning a language: Children need to be immersed in STEAM learning opportunities to become fluent. STEAM helps children learn how to analyze information and solve.
